Long Term Trends
Cotton Water Productivity Benchmarking has been conducted since the 199s and NSW DPI has led the project since 2006. The objective has been to promote continuous improvement in cotton water productivity by establishing a benchmark that growers can compare their performance against.
Working with industry, the Benchmarking project has facilitated extension activities to keep growers up to date with best practice water use.
