Drought Direction Index (DDI)
Wetting trend for most of NSW.
- The DDI tracks the 150-day trend of the rainfall index.
- The influence of ex-tropical cyclone Kirrily on the DDI can be seen across the northwest to southeast of the state, leading to a strong wetting trend for this region.
- A weak drying trend continues in eastern parts of the Riverina and Murray LLS region. DPI is watching this region closely.
