National outlook – July to September

The official national outlook was released by the Bureau of Meteorology on 4 July 2024.

• The rainfall outlook for July to September is likely (60-80% chance) to be above average across NSW, southern Queensland, much of South Australia and the Northern Territory. There is an increased chance of high rainfall for most of NSW in July.
• Maximum and minimum temperatures for July to September have an increased chance (60-80%) of being higher than average for most of Australia when compared to the historical record (1981 – 2018).
