Rainfall Totals

Rainfall was widespread during June, with the highest totals along the NSW coast, extending inland to the tablelands.

  • The higher rainfall totals in the east were driven by several weather systems throughout June.

Rainfall Percentiles

Lower rainfall percentiles were observed across much of the Murray, Riverina, and the far north coast during June 2024 compared to the 1980-2020 baseline record.

Calendar year to date rainfall percentiles vary across NSW. Rainfall deficits remain in central north of NSW, Riverina, Murray and the southeast.
