Drying trend continues in the south, extending to the southwest of NSW.
- The Drought Direction Index (DDI) tracks the 150-day trend of the rainfall index.
- The drying trend continues in eastern parts of the Western, Riverina, Murray and South East LLS regions.
- Other parts of NSW are seeing a continued wetting trend, which will be positive for winter cropping and fodder production.
- DPIRD is watching these regions closely.
