Narrabri - ACRI has world leading facilities and the investment from the Food and Fibre Infrastructure Program will see the standard continue

Current facilities include:

  • Controlled environment growth rooms
  • Insectaries
  • 277 hectares


Public facilities for Hire

The ACRI has 4 meeting areas for hire for public use.

All facilities include parking and IT facilities for presentation and remote meetings. As the ACRI is a biosecurity and emergency response site, specific hire conditions apply.

Meeting room information:

Main Conference Room – 100 people max seating, 20-30 with tables (VC unit, Data projector) $200/day

Discussion Room – 10-12 people with tables (VC unit, Data Projector) $150/day

Training Room – 10-12 people with tables (VC unit, data projector) $100/day

Board Room – 10-12 people with tables $100/day

Production and site facilities for collaboration

The ACRI site encompasses a variety of production systems relevant to the North West Region. Our production areas are used for both execution of research activities and commercial production.

We also have various laboratories, greenhouses and glass houses to support propagation and production activities.

Processing and storage sheds are also available for lease along with office space.
