Crabs and flooding in northern NSW
Flood events can wash contaminants from land into estuaries where they may then enter the food chain.
This project expands on existing research about the impacts of flooding on contaminants in crabs. It will support elemental and pesticide analysis from crabs across a broader geographic area and with more replication helping to enhance the data quality.
