Proposed public tender of aquaculture leases in various estuaries of NSW

Notice under clause 33(1) of the Fisheries Management (Aquaculture) Regulation 2017

Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development (DPIRD) is intending to offer by public tender 12 areas of public water land in various estuaries of NSW, for the purpose of aquaculture.

Any aquaculture lease granted as a result of the public tender will be subject to standard covenants and conditions of an aquaculture lease and aquaculture permit, as prescribed under the Fisheries Management Act 1994. Standard lease and permit conditions can be viewed at www.dpi.nsw.gov.au/fishing/aquaculture/permit-holder-information/

Special lease and/or permit conditions may also be applied to the proposed leases.
