Biography

Jessica Fearnley joined the DPI in January 2019. She recently graduated from university with a Bachelor of Rural Science with First Class Honours.

Jessica was the recipient of the Crawford Fund Student Award which was paired with two months travel to Cambodia as part of an ACIAR project identifying potential fruit tree replacements for Cassava crops. Specifically, we were benchmarking the pests and diseases of northwest Cambodian fruit trees. Throughout University she has been involved with various committees and boards including UNE’s Farming Futures, UNE’s Rural Science Undergraduate Society and International Student Ambassador.
