Leah Johnson
Leah is currently working as a veterinary pathologist at EMAI, with experience in production animal, companion animal and exotic/wildlife pathology.
Following graduation with a BVSc (hons) from the University of Sydney, Leah worked as a private veterinary practitioner in Wollongong and Sydney, before doing a rotating internship at a small animal specialist hospital.
Leah became a member of the ANZCVS in small animal medicine in 2014 and pathology in 2016. After completing a 3-year anatomic pathology residency at The University of Minnesota, USA, Leah passed her pathology certifying exams to become a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Pathologists in 2017. Leah is currently doing a part-time PhD in ‘Pathogenesis and characterisation of inherited neurologic diseases in sheep’.
