Rainfall Totals
Rainfall was widespread during May, with the highest totals along the NSW coast
- The higher rainfall totals in the east were driven by several weather systems throughout May.
Rainfall Percentiles
High rainfall percentiles were observed in western and eastern NSW during May 2024 compared to the 1980-2020 baseline record.
Calendar year to date rainfall percentiles are variable across NSW. Rainfall deficits remain in central north NSW, Riverina and Murray regions and the southeast.
