Plant Growth Index (PGI)

Plant Growth Index values continue to improve across much of NSW

  • Many areas have seen late pasture growth response to timely May rainfall events.
  • Many areas in NSW are experiencing a good start to the cropping season with ideal sowing conditions and germination of early varieties.
  • Parts of eastern Riverina and Murray LLS have seen a rapid decline in the PGI. DPI is watching these areas closely.
